I have to agree on all statements made by the one who started this thread. The country is in shambles and its all because the first family and what seem to be immediate relatives are a bunch of cheats and scammers. For crying out loud! how long are they actually going to play the filipino people as fools and ignorants. The truth is right under the people's noses. All they know is to focus on the issue of wiretapping and not the bigger picture which is mass election fraud!

what else is new? the country is ruled by a form of oligarchy in the guise of democracy. sad thing really. the pinoys are such trusting and easily manipulated people by their leaders starting from their baranggay captain to the President herself. look into history and u'll find so-called 'familial-political-dynasties' in existence.i should know, my uncle is a congressman who replaced my grandpa who is now a governor whose wife was the mayor of their stronghold town whose eldest took her vacated seat after she couldnt be reelected no longer who continue to use the 'cavans' of the government to buy their cars and houses, employ their friends and supporters w/o merit of qualifications in a positions in government they cannot possibly handle (try giving a 19 year-old the Municipal accountant's job, never before trained at a accounting, no understanding of budgets and legislations, or for that matter, how to add 3 digit numbers). having grown up between the US and 'Pinas and now currently in Europe, it breaks my heart to hear of such news. A few good men can only try (and then u begin to think, where the hell, or for that matter, who are the good men?).
the Filipinos have to look inside themselves and in a collective decide. A federal form of government should help the injustice as power is misappropriated (check out the number of congressional districts and representation in congress). I said help, but not solve anything. Its like, for every goddamn covernment after WW2 the Pinoys just keep on losing, having had a lawyer(with a shopaholic wife that gave gargantuan and epicurian a new meaning), a housewife (good in math but clueless in governing with a really disturbed starstruck kid), a former general (who smokes cigars, went to school with swarzkopf only to learn how to sell off prime philippine real estate and properties behind his people's back and claiming the billions for his own), a former action star who continued the legacy of the former president (in manipulating and stealing) while becoming the source of a new tag-lish spoofer slang (couldnt help it can he, he never finished university, at least his only legal and 26th wife's a doctor, but his kids and his kids' friends used the influence so there he ends up in a slammer being shown on national tv all the mudafu*@*in time on his so-called Jail), and now, an ickle-economist-former-first-daughter who said she wont be president after she just 'takes over' for a bit 'coz the 'bad guy was caught with his hands on the cookie jar' is president and is of course, having a ball with the archipelago's real estate, its people and all its' resources. goddamn. same old, same shit. thats why i left. it pisses me off. feel so sorry for the pinoys especially those who really do believe in family and god and whose only hope is their government.god i hate my relatives.how much money the hell do they need?
