LOTR Return of the King

So, is it true that LOTR ROTK is going to screen January in the Philippines instead of on the worldwide release this December 17? Is the Metro Film Festival pulling this stunt off again, like last time?

If that is true, then to all my peeps in the Philippines: choke on my December 17 7:00 PM tickets to the best movie ever made. (Do that right after I've used them. Word.)

Yup. The MMFF is the only way the local movie industry can get a piece of the holiday money. I can imagine ROTK killing Fantastikman and Captain Dumbell este Barbell at the box office.

And I don't know if it was intentional but they had the gall to show the Captain Barbell trailer back to back with the ROTK trailer.

Heh. Buti na lang I also have tickets to ROTK hehehe.
